Hi my name is Teresa from Colorado, I’m single, a fitness junkie,  and into beauty and glam.  I’m fun, a risk taker, and adventurous. I’m traveling with a former co-worker and my minpin companion, Mercedes. I finally decided to try travel nursing because it was something I’ve always wanted to do from the time I was a nursing student. After hearing all these awesome rumors about travel nurses making bank and how they get to travel anywhere in the US; it sounded like my dream job. So heck, why not travel + make money?

I’m a med-surg nurse and this will be my first out-of-state contract. I completed a 13 week contract back in Colorado floating between three different facilities. As a novice nurse it helped me gain experience quickly and to be on my “A” game.  I’m currently located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin  and working in a small, friendly hospital. I know what you’re all thinking. Why Wisconsin? Well, one day I got a phone call from my recruiter and he told me there was a crisis nursing need in Wisconsin with great pay. So now I’m here and I decided to start a blog site to share my fun yet raw experiences with travel nursing.  Please stay tuned so you can pick my brain for any nursing, health and beauty related questions you have for me.
